BLS Instructor Classes

Interested in becoming an AHA BLS Provider Instructor                                                      

Comprehensive Health & Safety Education C.H.A.S.E. offers American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider Instructor Courses. The AHA Instructor Course teaches the methods needed to effectively instruct others in resuscitation courses.

The courses are for individuals who are required or are interested in training and educating people in the healthcare field in cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques and also the general public. The course includes: AHA teaching methodology, BLS provider techniques, Effective instruction and communication techniques, Document completion and Compliance with AHA guidelines.

 

Must have completed the following before class

You must have all your paperwork emailed to me before the day of class. I will invoice you prior to class. Payment before class date is required.

  1. BLS Provider certificate, 
  2. First Aid certificate or copy of medical license. (RN, LPN, NA, PT, MD DO). 
  3. Drivers License
  4. Online BLS Instructor essentials certificate of completion, AHA website
  5. AHA Instructor candidate application. (Attachment below)
  6. Instructor Alignment rules & requirements form signed. 

Please note: Course participants will be required to teach a BLS Course (new or renewal) within 3 months after completing the BLS Provider Instructor Course.  A C.H.A.S.E. Instructor faculty will monitor the student teacher train at our Training Center. After a successful evaluation the new instructor will receive their 2 year BLS Instructor certification card.  The student may come to observe any BLS Provider classes.
